Description

A requirement for Aviation Gasoline, ASTM D910, and Aviation turbine fuel, ASTM D1655, determining the lowest temperature at which the fuel remains free of solid crystals which can restrict fuel flow during flight. This is the official referee method in settling all disputed data, and is performed manually using a cooling media, carefully calibrated thermometer, and an analyst that provides constant agitation. To obtain quality data, it is critical to use a carefully trained analyst in performing this manual method.
