Aerobic & Anaerobic Microbial Analysis

Test Equipment

Description

This test can be useful in the characterization of hydrocarbons. Although newer, modern, and more accurate test methods have been developed over the years to provide more precise data, the aniline point is an old classic ASTM method that could be considered an economical approach to the characterizations. It is mainly used to estimate the aromatic hydrocarbon content of the fuel, and can be used in tandem with ASTM D1319, Hydrocarbon Types.

Test Standard

ASTM D611
